This type of Two-Electrode ceramic-metal Spark Gaps of high pressure comes in a sealed-off package and is mainly designed to be used for triggering applications in:

- portable X-ray non-destructive testing systems for defectoscopy of metal structures
- high-power pulse medical instrumentation
- electro-optic converters
- high-speed photogaphy
- accelerating systems


Use of the offered here Spark Gap Sharpeners in the apparatus permits to diminish its size and weight considerably as well as to decrease inductance of discharge circuits and energetic losses.

We offer at least five types of sharpeners for operation with anode voltage from 100 to 300 kV, pulse current of the order of 1 kA and repetition rate of up to 50 Hz. Switching time of the sharpeners is 2 ns and less.
